21 competences for TI consultant companies

As I am reading “The Team Coach’s Best Tools”, finally I am able to put a lot of tacit knowledge in explicit knowledge. There is a lot about Timiakatemia process that finally makes sense and I can  grab to the floor and make something about it.

While I’ve been working on iScrum, there was something I wanted to do: be able to show to the team the capabilities that the team, as the sum of teampreneurs, has or lacks. I have, as a TI consultant teampreneur, quite clear what are the skills that teampreneurs must have.

While I was reading Team Coach’s Best Tools, I found the Skill Profile: 21 skills that every teampreneur must have!!! AMAZING! That was just what I was trying to find: a way to explicitly define the skills all teampreneurs must have.

So based on this line, I’ve worked in the “21 IT + 21 TE” skills profile; meaning this, the 21 competences every TeamEntrepeneur must have (based on TA skill profile) and the other 21 competences that every IT developer must have. By the way, before knowing the existance of 21 skill profile, it turned out that the number of my competences was also 21. Coincidence? Destiny? Faith?

Here they are, please be courageous to challenge my new IT developer Skills Profile!


Sé gestionar las crisis con un cliente
Sé replanificar y repriorizar las tareas de un proyecto y gestiono bien el cambio
Sé liderar el proyecto y el equipo del proyecto
Lidero y planifico reuniones con el cliente de forma habitual (scrum / kamban)
Comunico al cliente evolución del proyecto de forma habitual (una vez a la semana o más)
Planifico las tareas dentro del equipo en función de la carga de trabajo que tenemos
Sé estimar correctamente las tareas de jefatura de proyecto


Sé liderar el análisis ante el cliente
Traslado al cliente de forma habitual las nuevas propuestas que surgen dentro del equipo sobre el proyecto
Sé comunicar correctamente el análisis al equipo de desarrollo
Soy capaz de analizar técnicamente unos requisitos
Soy capaz de analizar funcionalmente los requisitos
Recojo requisitos correctamente
Sé estimar correctamente las tareas de análisis de proyecto

Trabajamos de forma ágil internamente en el proyecto
Desarrollamos con TDD
Aviso continuamente al equipo de mi estado actual (retraso / adelanto tareas desarrollo)
Soy capaz de realizar desarrollos complejos
Soy capaz de documentar un manual de usuario o técnicamente un proyecto
Soy capaz de realizar desarrollos habituales / sencllos de cero
Soy capaz de estimar correctamente tareas de desarrollo

As the 21 skill profile, they are evaluated from 0 to 5.
